It is well known that Hipparcos results are deeply confounded by binary stars. It is generally agreed that by using the intermediate measurement data (IMD) it is possible to achieve better after-mission results. Some mysterious problems, however, exist after applying IMD data. Although new processing and new results were published in 2007, it is interesting to notice that some controversy issues have not been solved in new data. This paper summarizes some mysterious cases in Hipparcos results, and analyzes the possible causes for those problematic results.
