Designed to detect micro-magnitude amplitude solar-like oscillations in bright solar-type stars, MONS can significantly out-perform ground-based photometric telescopes and thus has the capability to generate exciting new astrophysics for a wide variety of stellar types. Several types of stars not represented on the preliminary target list that would benefit from MONS observations are considered.
