Spectrophotometric measurements of two magnetic Ap stars, HD 10783 and CU Vir, are presented for λλ3300-7850. The use of the secondary standards in our data reductions is discussed. The 4200 and 5200 broad continuum features are present in HD 10783 but show no definite variation. The energy distribution 9f this star does not fit the predictions of any solar composition model with a main-sequence-type value 9f the gravity 6v&r the effective temperature range expected from its u - b and b - y colors. The Balmer jump fits a model of higher effective than does the Paschen continuum, a circumstance which probably results from line blocking and flux redistribution from the ultraviolet. The energy distribution of CU Vir can be crudely fit by the predictions of a solar composition model atmosphere with Teff = 13 000 K and log g = 4.0. The λ4200 and λ5200 features are weakly present and the λ6300 feature may be present. The λ5200 feature of CU Vir is apparently variable, the feature being strongest when the Paschen continuum is bluest and the Si II lines are strongest, If real, this behavior differs from that seen in 56 Ari, which otherwise resembles CU Vir in many ways. These differences are qualitatively explained on the basis of the magnetic diffusion hypothesis and different aspects for the two stars.
