We are preparing a list of atomic and molecular absorption lines present in the J and H bands of the near infrared. We are including more than two thousands atomic lines and dozens of thousands molecular lines (CN, CO, OH, FeH, TiO). We have identified new lines and determined damping constants, oscillator strengths and hyperfine components, in view of carrying out spectroscopic work such as: high or medium resolution spectroscopy of bulge stars and composite spectra of more distant objects.
