The constraints imposed on the basic parameter W of cosmological turbulence by observations of the microwave background spectrum and isotropy, and of the dynamics of galaxies are discussed. It is shown that those values of W which could meet the isotropy constraint entail excessive distortions of the background spectrum and galactic properties inconsistent with observations.
