The anisotropy pattern of the microwave background in hypersurface orthogonal Bianchi V models is discussed. With a tetrad formalism a system of differential equations describing the motion of null geodesics in such models is set up and solved analytically as far as possible. It is found that the anisotropy in the microwave background in these models tends, depending on the acceleration parameter, to become concentrated in small parts of the celestial sphere.
