Blandford and Cowie's (1982) proposal of a close correlation between the radio synchrotron and high-energy γ-ray fluxes from supernova remnants appears to be borne out by the probable identifications proposed here of two COS-B γ-ray sources with radio-bright SNRs: 2CG078+01 with G78.2+2.1 and 2CG006-00 with W28. Dense clouds overtaken by remnants should show unusually high ratios of γ-ray to synchrotron flux because the gas compression is limited behind the shock. A number of different observations support the notion of an interaction between the SNR and the molecular cloud in these two cases.
