The paper consists of basic description of the twilight sounding method of the atmosphere investigations and the results of polarization measurements of the twilight sky. These observations allow to detect the aerosol in the stratosphere after the Rabaul volcano eruption in 2006 and the meteoric dust in the mesosphere after the strong maximum of Leonids shower in 2002.
