Variable radio emission from the massive binary system CC Cas has been detected at frequencies of 2695 and 8085 MHz. The CC Cas radio source was found to be present at levels of 0.005-0.01 Jy on a third of the days the star was observed. The radio star AR Lac has been observed to undergo a relatively strong radio flare event of the Algol type. Detailed observations of this event at 2695 and 8085 MHz are presented together with a history of the radio emission from this binary. AR Lac and CC Cas are compared with four other binaries showing radio emission varying on short time scales.
