Data obtained by Voyager 2 have fully confirmed the hypothesis of the resonant nature of the Uranus' rings, suggested by the authors, according to which the location of the rings is determined by the resonances 1:2, 2:3, 3:4 from unknown satellites. As was foreseen, Voyager 2 has discovered a number of small satellites outside the external boundary of the rings. The orbit radii of four satellites, each of which determines through resonant action the location of the two rings, agree with predicted values.
