High-speed photometry of the helium variable V803 Cen (AE-1) is presented which shows rapid oscillation at 1611 and 175 s. The 1611-s period has a complex and variable harmonic structure. Both periods remained coherent over four days when the system was at ≡13.4 in B. After the system faded to B ≡ 15.4, the coherency of the 1611-s period seemed to be breaking down and a significant period change in the 175-s oscillation was found. A spectrum of the system at B ≡ 15.4 showed evidence for weak He I emission. These properties establish that V803 Cen is the same kind of object as PG 1346+082. The overall properties of the two stars are considered with those of AM CVn and GP Com and are found to be consistent with the interacting binary white dwarf model.
