Page's sample of double galaxies shows a strong correlation between the ratio of 'best guess' virial mass to luminous mass (Mvt/M) and virial velocity dispersion (V). Mvt/M is not significantly correlated with virial radius R, nor is V with R. A simple analysis indicates that these results are not produced by projection effects. The correlation between Mvt/M and V applies also to Jenner's sample of double supergiant galaxies, and to double systems in which one component is the dominant galaxy of a 'solar-system-type' group.
