A general description is presented of the observation of circular polarization during this eclipse, and it is found that sunspots, bright knots, and plages undergo circular polarization. Sunspot 332 and its polarization source are seen to have a one-to-one correspondence in nucleus-penumbra formation, and the double nucleus structure of the polarization source is resolved down to 2.5 sec. It is observed that the direction of circular polarization is reversed when the polarization source originates from behind the solar disk.
