The present paper deals with the turbulent flow of an incompressible viscous fluid which is isotropic and spatially homogeneous. The expression for the rate of change of vorticity covariance is derived. The derived result shows that the defining scalars α(r, t) and β(r, t) of the rate of change of vorticity covariance solely depend upon the defining scalar Q of the two-point velocity correlation.
