A statistical theory of polyatomic ion-electron dissociative
recombination reactions is presented and applied to the calculation of
branching ratios for the various sets of neutral products of the
reactions HCNH(+) + e, H3O(+) + e, CH3(+) + e, and NH4(+) + e, all
thought to be important in interstellar cloud chemistry.
