This paper reports radio observations of NGC 4472, a giant elliptical
galaxy in the Virgo cluster which shows a structure typical of radio
galaxies but at a radio power level usually associated with 'normal'
galaxies. It is concluded that the double structure is related to
factors other than the radio power.
