UBVRI photoelectric photometry for 39 stars in and around the open cluster Bo 10 is presented. The cluster appears to be composed of 15 stars, all of them with spectral types earlier than B5, plus one supergiant star of mid-K type. Its members yield an average reddening of E(B-V) equals 0.35. The evolutionary deviation curve provides a distance of 3.6 plus or minus 0.2 kpc (distance modulus 12.8 plus or minus 0.1), with an age of about 7 million years. It may be one of the oldest groups in the Carina region, but according to its distance the association to the nearer Carina OB1 complex (approximately 2.6 kpc) appears uncertain. The remaining 23 nonmember stars are nearby; five B-type stars situated at a distance of about 1.6 kpc may form a small stellar group. The possible relation with the WR star HD 92809 is discussed.
