Elaver Vallis was carved by catastrophic drainage of a Hesperian lake in
Morella Crater. We estimate the minimum time for groundwater to fill the
lake, the peak flood discharge rate, and the local cryosphere thickness,
groundwater depth, and crustal heat flux at the time of the flood.
