A method that does not require any auxiliary graphic procedures is
developed for calculating the limiting cycles of self-oscillating
astrophysical objects. The method is applied to the computation of the
limiting cycle of 11-year variations of solar activity, and it is shown
that the results compare well with those obtained by graphic procedures.
