The nonlinear pulsation oscillations of the Maclaurin spheroids are
examined for the case of rotationally symmetric oscillations. It is
assumed that the external impulses that created the oscillations are
insufficiently strong to break it up. It is found that when oscillation
amplitude increases the oscillations slow down.
