Integrated spectra have been used to search for a gradient in the abundance of calcium within the central 7 arcmin of the unusual globular cluster Omega Cen. The upper limit for the size of a calcium abundance gradient across this region is 0.2 dex. Previously published observations have been examined for evidence of abundance gradients at larger radial distances. While it is confirmed that there is evidence for such a gradient, this evidence is not yet compelling. Studies of four globular clusters provide no evidence that large abundance gradients exist within individual globular clusters.
