We have obtained near-IR spectra of 10 radio galaxies with 2.0 < z < 2.64 using the IRS and OSIRIS at CTIO and the CRSP at KPNO. In this redshift range Hα falls in the K window and [OIII]5007 and [OII]3727 fall in the H and J windows, respectively. We have derived the Ly alpha /H alpha ratios for all of our objects and find values ranging from 2 to >6, implying a wide range in reddening to the narrow line region. We find no cases with convincing quasar-like broad lines, although higher S/N data are needed to make a strong limit. We discuss the impact of the implied reddening on the SEDs and the stellar models used in estimating ages and formation redshifts.
