A broad-band spectrum (6320-9170 A) obtained using the Red Channel Spectrograph at the Multiple Mirror Telescope (MMT) indicates that the red companion to Gl 569 is an object with spectral characteristics similar to the very late dwarf VB 10 and the possible brown dwarf LHS 2924. It is concluded that Gl 569B is not as red as LHS 2924 and is much like G208-44B, which has similar age characteristics and a mass of 0.09 + or - 0.02 solar mass.
