From H-alpha CCD observations taken with the 4.2-m William Herschel Telescope, a catalog of 456 H II regions of the inner zone of the spiral galaxy NGC 4321 has been compiled. The radial distribution, the distribution of diameters, and the luminosity function for the arm and the interarm H II regions are presented, together with the spatial dependence of the product of the filling factor and the electron density of the H II regions. Newly discovered H-alpha emission features are shown surrounding the nuclear zone, which itself seems to be an H-alpha emitter.
