If TeV blazars accelerate ultra-high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs), then secondary γ rays, leptons, and pions from photopion, photopair, and proton synchrotron processes will generate a gamma-ray component in the spectra of these sources. A combined lepton/hadron jet model for TeV blazars is outlined, and parameters allowing effective UHECR acceleration are evaluated. The cascade γ ray emission spectrum is analytically derived, and used to address two important questions in contermporary TeV blazar studies: (1) Can the hard TeV spectrum implied in blazars with redshifts z ≥ 0.15 subject to strong intergalactic infrared absorption be explained by hadronic emissions?; and (2) Can these emission resolve the difficulty to explain the total TeV blazar SED in a leptonic synchrotron/SSC framework without resorting to large Doppler factors?
