We present redshifts and luminosities for galaxies in a very deep IRAS sample at the north ecliptic pole. These galaxies were selected from coadded IRAS scans of the pole region with 60microns flux densities bounded between 180 and 120 mJy. Therefore they represent the faintest infrared galaxy sample yet assembled. We acquired optical spectra in 1987 and 1990 at the Palomar 5 m telescope. We discuss the clustering of the sample and the luminosity evolution of its members.
