We have completed the Chandra Multi-wavelength Plane (ChaMPlane) Optical Survey, supported by NOAO as one of the long term survey projects from year 2000 to 2005, and produced 65 Mosaic fields covering about 23 square degrees and 199 ACIS observations (Chandra AO1-7) on 117 distinct Chandra fields. ChaMPlane Optical Survey is the optical follow-up using the CTIO and KPNO 4m telescopes to identify counterparts of the Chandra sources in the Galactic plane. For those identified counterparts, we conducted spectroscopic follow-ups for classifications, using the WIYN, CTIO-4m and Magellan telescopes. We present our findings from the ChaMPlane Optical Survey.
