The deep Chandra Multiwavelength Plane (ChaMPlane) survey of the Galactic Bulge is comprised of near-simultaneous Chandra and HST/ACS pointings of three low-extinction regions located at 4, 2 and 1.5 degrees from the Galactic Center. Using X-ray and optical colors, the nature of the population of X-ray sources in the Bulge is constrained and compared to source populations in other ChaMPlane fields. Here we focus on how the numbers of identified Halpha-excess candidate counterparts constrain the space density of cataclysmic variables in the Bulge and its radial gradient towards the Galactic Center, which hosts thousands of mostly still unidentified hard, low-luminosity X-ray sources.
