The methanol multbeam (MMB) survey is currently underway to observe the Galactic plane for 6668 MHz methanol and 6035 MHz excited hydroxyl (ex-OH) masers, known signposts of Massive Star Formation (MSF). As well as acting as signposts, the compactness and brightness of masers can be used to probe both the chemistry and kinematics of massive star forming regions in unrivaled detail. The survey has so far yielded over 800 6668 MHz masers with 12% of these also having a 6035 MHz ex-OH maser association. Understanding why this interesting subset of sources have both 6668 MHz methanol and 6035 MHz ex-OH masers is an important step in the star formation process. We propose to observe 15 new ex-OH masers with ATCA to determine an accurate position for the completeness of the catalogue and allow us to investigate the association of this maser with other masers and high resolution radio, infrared and submillimetre observations. In addition we propose to investigate the presence of the 1666, 1667 and 6030 MHz OH maser transitions. This is a proposal on behalf of the 21 UK and Australian members of the MMB collaboration.
