Prompted by the Fermi LAT report on Gev flaring of PKS0727-11 and recent activity of this blazar reported in ATEL #2860, #1919. We have carried out NIR photometry on the object. Our observations on JD 2455470.01006, yielded the following values: H = 14.97 +/- 0.02, J = 15.57 +/- 0.03 and Ks = 13.92 +/- 0.05. Comparing these with the 2MASS published photometry for the object. We detect an enhanced flux at NIR wavelengths of a factor ~2, with respect to the latter.
