We investigate the basic properties of local H I-rich galaxies by using
semi-analytic galaxy formation models, taking into account the merging
processes of dark halos, based on the hierarchical structure formation
scenario. We find that both the cross sections of galactic disks and the
star formation rates correlate strongly with the H I masses.
