Observations of the sodium exosphere taken at the McMath-Pierce Solar
Telescope at Kitt Peak, Arizona, are compared with concurrent
observations with the Ultraviolet and Visible Spectrometer onboard the
MESSENGER spacecraft during the first flyby, January 14, 2008.
