Space-based gravitational wave detectors will have the ability to observe continuous low-frequency gravitational radiation from binary star systems. The expected angular resolution of these detectors should allow the identification of short-period systems with individual globular clusters. The dynamics of a globular cluster favors the concentration of hard binary systems within the core of the cluster, and so there should be an enhanced number of strong sources in the direction of nearby clusters. In addition, if some of these systems have orbital periods less than ~600 s, then the distance to the cluster can be determined independently of the uncertainties associated with electromagnetic observations. The likelihood of such an observation and its expected accuracy is discussed.
