The Nearby Supernova Factory reports on three spectra (range 340-1000 nm) of SN 2005cc in NGC 5383 (CBET #154) obtained May 21.4 UT, May 24.4 UT and May 26.4 UT with the SuperNova Integral Field Spectrograph on the University of Hawaii 2.2-m telescope. The first spectrum shows a red continuum with very weak narrow absorption features unlike any other known supernova spectrum. The spectrum obtained May 24.4 UT shows overall increased flux and deeper narrow absorption features similarly to that of SN 2002cx at -4 ( Li et al.
