MHD model of cylindrical jet in external media is formulated both for relativistic and nonrelativistic ouflow. In both cases the current-free jet can be constructed only if the angular velocity vanishes at the jet's boundary. The particle energy and the magnetic field structure are determined self-consistently. It is demonstrated that in the relativistic case (for real presure and magnetic fields in the interstellar media) the most part of the energy is transported by the electromagnetic field and, hence, the magnetic field stricture is similar to force-free solution. On the other hand, for nonrelativistic flow the particle energy is to be of the order of the total energy flux. Finally, it is shown that for both relativistic and nonrelativistic cases the well-known core-like super-fast flows are not realized, and the sub-fast flow is to exist in the core of a jet.
