We investigate the z˜1.5 rest-frame B-band Tully-Fisher relation, using a sample of Hα-emitting galaxies and find a ˜ 2 mag offset from the local Tully-Fisher relation. We demonstrate why the interpretation of this result is not straightforward: analysis of high-redshift Tully-Fisher relations is plagued by selection effects, biases, observational challenges, and other effects.
