Recent observations of 4U 1820-30 by RXTE have indicated a limiting QPO frequency of 1060 Hzs. If this is evidence for the marginally stable orbit of a neutron star it would correspond to a neutron star mass above the maximum mass for Strange Stars for most strange matter parameters. This would significantly constrain the parameter space for strange matter.
