The detection of X-ray afterglows related to Gamma Ray Bursts is one of the principal tasks performed at BeppoSAX Scientific Operation Centre. We present here the detection database (a work in progress, since the satellite is still in operation) both for Wide Field Cameras events and for afterglows revealed by Narrow Field Instruments. A further section is dedicated to the procedure whose aim is to identify the X counterpart and its position as soon as possible. Finally, we briefly review the follow-up at other wavelengths triggered by BeppoSAX observations.
