Using our deep Chandra observations, we report our detailed analysis of the outer-shock structure of O-rich upernova remnant G292.0+1.8. Radial variations of the electron temperature and the emission measure suggest that the outer shock is propagating into a medium of a radially decreasing density profile. The inferred ambient density structure is consistent with models for the circumstellar wind from the massive progenitor star. We discuss our results in context with the analytic SN-wind interaction models.
