The information obtained from the microwave background and the support it brings to the steady state cosmology theory is discussed. The microwave background is explained in terms of an ongoing process. The existence of metallic whiskers in astronomy are analyzed. The implications of the study state condition and the spectrum of the background are explained. Little correspondence with observation and the big bang theory is found, and the possibility of this being the correct interpretation of cosmology is doubted.
