Universe: Elementary Particles
Scientific paper
A description of the ether and its evolution is attempted, leading to suggestions as to the nature of particles, fields, and lines of force. It is argued that the Universe is essentially corpuscular, that fields and waves are generated by particles. Appearance of the first particle marked the beginning of the synthesis of the ether and of the Universe. From the ether there evolved simple particles of matter that eventually aggregated to form stars. The creation of the Cosmos described by the standard cosmological model took place long after the birth of the Universe.
