High sensitivity radio observations of the galaxy NGC4869, in the Coma cluster of galaxies, at 0.3, 1.5, 4.9, and 15 GHz are presented, in addition to a CCD optical image. The radio data were obtained with the VLA and the WSRT, with angular resolutions ranging from 0.3 to 1 arcsec. They make it possible to map the source in great detail, including both the small- and the large-scale structure. The source consists of a weak unresolved core with flat spectrum, two short (3 kpc) symmetric jets, sharply bent at about 90 deg, and a low-brightness tail which shows a prominent bending to the north. The jet structure is strongly affected by projection effects. The source is polarized at 6 cm and strongly depolarized at 20 cm. The spectral index behavior in the jets and along the source tail is derived for the available frequency ranges. Between 6 and 20 cm, it has a basically constant value of 0.7 for both jets, with no significant gradient. With increasing distance from the core, along the tail, the spectral index regularly steepens up to values about 2.0 or more. At lower frequencies, it is flatter, but nevertheless, it has unusually high values.
