The paper considers linear wave transformation in the vicinity of cusp resonance in an isothermal atmosphere permeated by a nearly horizontal magnetic field in the presence of radiative exchange. It is shown that if the inclination angle of the field is smaller than the critical angle, magnetogravity wave absorption takes place at the cusp resonance. If the inclination angle is larger than the critical angle, a linear transformation of magnetogravity waves into slow magnetoacoustic waves takes place.
