The existence of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) may solve both the dark matter problem and the solar neutrino problem. Such particles affect the energy transport in the stellar cores and change the stellar structure. The results of an analytic approximation to compute these effects in a self-consistent way are presented. These results can be applied to many different stars, but the decrease of the B-8 neutrino flux in the case of the sun is emphasized.
