Solar Activity: Solar-Terrestrial Relations

Scientific paper

The relation between the droughts for the period from 580 to 1979 in
Shaanxi and the solar activity is studied. The droughts mostly appeared
in maximum, declining phase and minimum of solar activity cycles. It is
predicted that there will be 1 drought in 1995 ≡ 1997, 0 drought
in 1997 ≡ 2000 and 2 to 3 droughts in 2000 ≡ 2005.
