High-resolution very-long-baseline interferometric measurements at 1612 MHz have been obtained for 33 OH/IR stars. It is found that the total extent of the 1612 MHz masing regions around these stars is always equal to or greater than 100 AU and can be as large as 10,000 AU. The wide range of infrared and radio properties for these stars appears to be closely associated with their estimated range in mass-loss range. It is suggested that the overall sizes of the masing regions depend primarily on the mass-loss rate.
