The Lynds et al (1976) image reconstruction algorithm is applied to speckle interferometric data for the supergiant stars alpha Ori, alpha Cet, alpha Tau, rho Per, and alpha Her. Further restoration is applied to the images of alpha Ori and omicron Cet. Estimations of angular diameter as a function of wavelength and limb darkening are made, confirming the observation by Bonneau and Labeyrie (1973) that such stars appear smaller at long wavelengths. An upper limit is placed on the degree of large-scale surface structure on alpha Ori.
