The determination of the fractional population of spirals and ellipticals in the centrally concentrated Hydra I and irregular Fornax galaxy clusters shows that the number of spiral-like structures depends on the surface brightness interval considered. The spiral content of Hydra I is similar to color studies of distant concentrated clusters; the less dense Fornax cluster has a larger spiral content and more normal spirals. The majority of low brightness and dwarf galaxies have an elliptical distribution suggesting their causal relationship.
