The Laplace theory of independent variables in differential equations of dynamics which allows an accurate treatment by approximations is proved for the case of the moon by comparing three sets of series of its motion. The arguments formed by combinations of true longitudes of the moon and the sun represent the motion of the moon to be more convergent than the classical approach; the results can be applied to other celestial bodies for which the series converge very slowly due to small parameters of the inclination tangent, eccentricity, and the ratio of mean motions. The series are more accurate than the semiliteral solution of the Jupiter satellite JVI by Bobone (1937).
