The breaks in the luminosity functions which correspond to the breaks in
the mass functions for clusters of galaxies can be due to the relaxation
mechanism replacement or the interaction replacement. The mass function
indices and the break locations are in satisfactory agreement with the
observed data for clusters of galaxies.
